JDRF: A humble thank you to all of those that have nominated me for volunteer of the year for 2013 and 2014. Its not about who will receive that wonderful title...as there are so many wonderful people that give their time to others...its about you! All of u, about us....our children and their future nd finding thst cure. I know being a T1D parent can be really hard...God do I know that!!!! All of the struggles and complications that can pop up and stop u dead in your tracks. Weve all been there in some form or another. We are all in this together. In happiness, sadness, stress, love...u name it...we are a family. Some like the fact I have support groups, some find comfort in my being a legal advocate..some like that I send supplies to anone in need, some like my christmas card and ornament exchange program....some like my penpal progam....it is not 1 thing in particular that makes us family. It is love, respect and kindness. Thank you all! Crying :)
