JEDI WARRIORS PRAYER REQUEST: Hey, Jedi Warriors! I have a very special and personal prayer request. I have a longtime friend…a sister really (Sherri Vetsch)…that was there for me during one of my deepest hours. It is now my/OUR time to be with her. Sherri and her husband live in the Portland, OR Metro area. She is love and kindness in the flesh! Her husband Mike Jacobson is really, really sick with cancer. His wife Sherri can tell you more about it (please tell us Sherri). He now has an abscess on his intestines and it can’t be operated on. This is exactly what I had that almost killed me, but mine was operable...WOW! As I understand it, the doctors wanted to put Mike on Hospice, which means comfort only until he goes to Heaven. Quoting his wife, Sherri… ========= ”We may not have a braVelet, but we are here at OHSU Good Sam, fighting hard. They wanted to start Hospice last week but my husband is a tough cowboy... They dont know how tough - he is doing better now, just trying to get his intestines reset, so they continue to work. Good to know there are warriors fighting along with us.” Let’s pray Jedi Warriors that the doctors do NOT put him on Hospice. We are still praying for a miracle. Today before the Super Bowl, I drove to downtown Portland, OR to Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital and dropped off several braVelets to Mike and Sherri. I really didn’t know what to write on the message that I attached the braVelets too, so I prayed God would give me the right words that came from US Jedi Warriors. The entire drive from Washougal, WA to the hospital I listened to a special song over and over by Rascal Flatts (I’ve copied it below). It is the Jedi Warrior theme song and given to me by another Jedi Warrior Jacqueline Gabbert. Join me in sending Prayers, Healing Thoughts & ENERGY to Mike & Sherri. When I dropped the braVelets off at the nurses’ station, I asked the nurse to tell Sherri that I loved her (I really do). I told the nurse that I am representing the Jedi Warriors and I am Sherri’s friend. Afterwards, I text Sherri that I had dropped the braVelets off just to make sure they received them. This is her response: ------------------“Thank you so much. Our attorney and his wife were just dropping off papers. Mike cried when I read your note. He never cries…he is a tough Cowboy. I cried too and so did our attorney. Mike and I have so many friends that are praying about us every day, but to all of a sudden have so many more people that don’t even know us start to bend God’s ear on our behalf, and to be a part of a Warrior clan was an AMAZING feeling. The nurse that delivered the package wanted to know what it was and when I told her, she wanted to know how to find out about it and get a bracelet. I gave her one and she was AMAZED! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am saving one bracelet for Nancy Gunter (our mutual friend) she is going through a terrible breast cancer right now. She needs to be a Warrior too.” Love, Sherri Vetsch This is so typical of Sherri. She is hurting so bad for her husband, yet finds the time to pray for someone else. WE LOVE YOU SHERRI & MIKE!!! We are sending you Prayers, Healing Thoughts & ENERGY!!! Don’t worry, Sherri. We will now pray for Nancy too!!! youtube/watch?v=4fqPcnuVPR8
