JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY DID IT! The students raised over $11,000.00 for their Jefferson Wish On A Well international fundraiser – to build a well in South Sudan, Africa! At their yard sale this past weekend (Saturday, March 1, 2014) they brought in $4001.20. Staff then decided to do a three day challenge to raise the $1299.80 to meet the goal. If the students were able to bring that much money in over a three day period, then they were promised they could duct tape Principal Brian Partin and 5th grade teacher, Mr. Darin Trent to the wall (literally)! Needless to say, the students met the goal in ONE DAY! Today, Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. the Jefferson Jaguars had an assembly to celebrate raising $11,000 for the Jefferson’s Wish On A Well project AND to duct tape Principal Partin and Mr. Trent to the Wall!
