JENK 1 [jähngk] noun 1.any old or discarded items considered junk, such as metal, plastic, wood, or manufactured items that still hold value as artistic reusable material. A Jenk “Star” is a person talented in the act of finding treasure “Jenk” in trash piles and creating beautiful works of art out of it. The Jenkstars are a collective of professional Artists, Creators, Inventors, Thinkers, Performers, Musicians, Magicians, and Builders. Together they produce festivals, build large scale art installations, create themed stages, and perform as characters/musicians/DJ’s around the world and on their ranch in Southern Utah. All of their installations are built from reclaimed and repurposed material, and they strive to use only solar and wind to power their Events. At the core of their being is the belief that art can change the way people see the world and thus transform it.
