JESUS BACK I would not, brethren, have you ignorant concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14Porque if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus, God will bring with him. 15 we say unto you, then it is by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This Jesus, who of you is taken up into heaven, shall so come in as to heaven ye have seen him go (Acts. 1:11) For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the Son of man coming. (Mt. 24:27) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (Mk. 13.6) Therefore thus will I do to thee, O Israel! And because itll make you, get ready, O Israel, for thou art with your God (Amos 4:12) - The return of Jesus Christ is something we can not stress. - Nail this Word this morning because our Lord allowed me to have a dream about this important event of the Lords Return. - Actually, this is not the first dream I have, do not forget that before knowing the Lord without even knowing that He would come back one day, I had a dream that he had returned and woke up with fear. - But tonight I had a new dream that woke me very upset because this dream I was allowed to see that preceding Christs return will be much deception and many will be caught by mistake to come. - I think Satans strategy for these days will send a spirit of deception to take a lot of focus of the Lord Jesus. - The texts we read above give us some certainties: The first is that Jesus will return - If we believe in the Bible as immutable word of God, then we have to have this certainty in mind: This Jesus, who of you is taken up into heaven, shall so come in as to heaven ye have seen him go (Acts 1:11. b) - The great evil kingdoms strategy is to make us think that this will not happen. The apostle Peter already does this warning when he says that in recent times appear scoffers saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation (2 Pet. 3.4) - Dear brothers, Jesus will return for sure. Do not let your rational mind try to tell you otherwise, but accepted this Word in your life. The coming will be sudden Him - ... As the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the Son of man coming. - People will be taken by surprise when least expect it, as happened - It will not have time to set things right, you will not have time to warn your relatives will not have time to evangelize someone else. - The Bible says are two in the field, one taken and the other left; Being two grinding at the mill; one will be taken and the other left (Matthew 24.40-41) The third aspect is that many will be deceived - As I said above, people will come and say that the coming of His promise is bullshit, thats been a long time and this did not happen, and this will not happen now - They will say that this is just another legend - By the way, have you noticed how the media tries to deceive us and deceive subtly. A few days ago I was watching TV and the reporter said, the flood legend. - But in the days preceding the return of Jesus, there will be other theologies trying to take the focus of the person of Christ. - If we are to some neo-churches will see that very few people know details about the return of Jesus. Know cite color verses like I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me or most what is in me than he that is in the world, but ignore the return of Jesus as something we have to be prepared. - The theology of prosperity has also drawn the focus of many. I believe that in these last days God will bless his Church so that we can expand, the problem is thatre full of Christian with the vision simply the riches of this world when Jesus Himself said, Do not lay up treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break through and steal; But lay up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart Mt. 6.19-21. - When we lose the focus on Christ and on his return, then we are kidding ourselves even. - Brothers, biblical knowledge is fundamental and is the only way to avoid being deceived. - We can not live a Christianity without knowing the Bible - It is the only way to avoid being deceived - Because beloved brethren, before the return of Jesus there shall arise false Christs. The Inri Christ will be chump change before these other deceivers and those who do not know the Bible can be wrong. The differences are subtle. - The Bible tells us this clearly in 1 Timothy 4.1: Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will abandon the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. - Do not think you know everything. I woke up startled by the dream I had, it was just about seducing spirits, trying to get away from the true doctrine. - How can you know what is truly Jesus is coming back? Knowing Gods Word, for example: For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is such a deceiver and the antichrist (2 Jn. 1.7) - The devil is not presented as an ugly guy, with a long tail, full of scales, leaving the snot nose and smelling bad. He will perform with good looks, speaking softly and attracting many for you - Learn to distinguish true and false. We urge you to do this. - For many shall come in my name (saith the Lord) and shall deceive many Finally, we must be prepared - Get ready, then, for thou art the Lord Your God - It does not help you know that Jesus will return one day, that His coming will be sudden and that many will be deceived, if you are not prepared for your back. - Its like that song that says, my friend today you have the choice, life and death, which you will accept, tomorrow may be too late, today Christ wants to set you free. - The psalmist asks: Lord who will come into your sanctuary? And the answer is He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully, shall receive the blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation Ps. 24: 3-5 - The spirit of deception has operated in the middle of the church of the Lord Jesus in a tremendous way, minimizing sin, so that sin has little importance in the context of Christian living. - But my beloved brethren, I have to tell you, if we live a life without caring to sin, then our destiny is eternal perdition. - Our life must be holy, our behavior should be in accordance with the conduct of someone who will live in heaven. If you want to make a good prayer, ask the Lord to show you at all times what displeases. - Hows your heart? Do you have doubts about your salvation? If Jesus returned today? - May the Lord teach us to have Holiness.
