Hill immediately enjoyed the vibrant music scene in Vancouver BC upon his move in 2005.. Playing open mics frequently, and increasing his song repertoire, Hill began performing shows year round. Touring across Canada in 2011 from BC to Quebec, Hill met many new fans that enjoyed his unique style of music and stage presence. Hills stage presence draws the crowd into the show with his witty stories and audience interaction. With influences ranging from Foo Fighters, The Doors, Tom Petty, Muse, Sam Roberts, Pearl Jam and Nirvana, the music gives the listener a combination of high energy guitar, memorable lyrics, and a danceable element. robbhillmusic/ BALLET SCHOOL (London/Berlin) BALLET SCHOOL are a band at the forefront of pops new alternative. Rosie and Michel met two years ago in Berlins thriving ex-pat DIY scene. Rosie heard Michel playing his guitar in the U-bahn and immediately asked him to form a band. In 2012 they began collaborating with Louis, another fixture on the Berlin DIY scene. The three bonded through wild experimentation, endless youtube partying and constant gigging, as they worked to transform a deep love of The Cure, Cocteau Twins, and early Madonna into a fresh pop sound. The heart of the Ballet School sound is the perfect match of Rosies voice, Michels glacial guitar and Louis innovative drumming. The debut album, White Mountain Lies, was released in April in front of a packed house in their hometown of Gothenburg and its getting good reviews everywhere.
