JHATPAT KARARI KURKURI MASALA MOONGFALI/Crispy Masala Peanuts in Microwave Havent made these for a long time. Finally!! Yayyyyyy Beautiful weather and a cuppa coffee with these quick and easy karari moongfali is so relaxing. Its made in only 5 minutes and the best thing with just 1 tbsp oil. Heres the recipe Peanuts/ moongfali with skin 1 cup Besan/ gram flour 2 tbsp Garam masala 1 tsp Kala namak 1 tsp Hing/ asafoetida a pinch Red chilli powder 2 tsp ( I like it spicy, you can adjust the quantity as per taste) Amchoor 1-2 tsp Salt to taste Olive oil 1 tbsp Water 1-2 tbsp Chaat Masala 1 tbsp In a bowl, mix besan, garam masala, red chilli powder, amchoor, hing, chaat masala, kala namak and salt. Now take a strainer and put all the peanuts into it. Just give it a quick wash and drain the excess water. The peanuts should be wet enough to coat in all the masalas. Now put the peanuts into the prepared masala and mix gently. Pour 1 tbsp oil and mix well. Each peanut must be coated with the masala. If the peanuts are dry just add few drops of water and mix again. Now place the peanuts in a microwave safe plate separately. Brush the tray with oil( I didnot). Microwave high for 4 minutes. Take the tray out and flip the peanuts and microwave them again for 1 minute. Take them out. If they are still not crispy microwave again for a minute or two. Take the tray out and sprinkle chaat masala. Let it cool and transfer to an air tight jar. I gobbled some before storing them. Cant resist munching them. Well, I always make them in little quantities. But these little crispies can be stored for a month.
