Find out more by visiting our website: mikeshard/en/home The Customer Demand Planner plays a critical role in helping to achieve the company’s growth plans by ensuring world class customer service to our Distributor Network while also balancing inventory levels to prevent write offs due to obsolescence. Demand Planners will serve as the daily point of contact for our Distributors on all order related matters. This role manages both the daily customer service needs of Distributors as well as assisting with the company monthly forecasting process. Building strong relationships with the field sales team as well as Distributors will be key to success. The DP will be a focal point to the S&OP process by ensuring the most up to date sales insights and trends are reflected in the forecast. It will be critical to partner closely with all functions within the company to ensure collaboration and a sense of cross functional ownership of the forecast. Working with third party warehouses and production sites this role will ensure execution of the production plan and product availability at each of our distribution locations. Essential duties and responsibilities: Provide both strategic and tactical leadership for the demand and inventory planning for the companies US operations. Support in the execution of the S&OP process in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance. Ensure product availability at all times throughout the network. Establish best practices by leveraging all available data and tools to manage service and inventory levels to the most optimal levels. Assist in the development and evolution of the Distributor Order Portal including the capture of Distributor forecast and creation of an order recommendation. Proactively monitor sku movement and inventory levels, advance recommendations on sku rationalization. Manage daily Distributor customer service and logistics exceptions not handled through TMC. Requirements Minimum 5 years of Inventory Planning, Logistics or Customer Service experience Ability to travel up to 15% of the time Strong teamwork orientation Strong written and oral communication skills as well as excellent presentation abilities Action oriented and KPI driven Creative thinker with the ability to deliver out of the box solutions Nimble/Flexible and Entrepreneurial Mindset; Can thrive in an ambiguous environment Bring an outgoing and approachable personality to the job daily Cross-functional leadership with an ability to influence people to a shared vision.
