*****JOB OPENING - SOUTHFIELD***** Mortgage Center is looking for an Account Executive. Total comp somewhere between $50,000-$65,000. On the road (local/statewide) approximately 3 days a week. SUMMARY: Employee will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with existing credit union main office employees and branch employees. Ensure that the credit unions are utilizing all of the marketing materials that are available to them and assist in the implementation of marketing strategies. Training and education of credit union staff to ensure they are comfortable with their mortgage program. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Visit credit unions on a regular basis to increase mortgage volume: Assist in delivering new marketing materials to branches; Assist in coordinating monthly marketing activities; Communicate new product offerings to the credit unions; Initiate meetings with key staff within the credit union; Train and educate members and employees; Ensure the credit union is using all of the tools necessary to generate volume; Clearly articulate changes in policies and procedures to credit union staff. 2. Identify, manage, and staff conferences/events to build awareness with credit unions. 3. Identify and meet with prospective credit unions to offer Mortgage Center mortgages. 4. Contribute Marketing Ideas and Concepts to the Department. 5. Ensure that any of the credit unions special requests have been met. 6. Be available for member appreciation days and accompany credit union staff on SEG visits. 7. Assist in credit union charity outings. 8. Coordinate special marketing requests. 9. Contribute newsletter articles and ideas to communicate to the credit union staff. 10. Create and monitor the marketing plans and make adjustments when needed. 11. Monitor the individual credit unions’ marketing results and report. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in and a desire to manage an outside sales/marketing environment. 2. Mortgage Origination and Servicing knowledge preferred. 3. Ability to work outside of the normal business hours as needed. 4. Excellent presentation skills. 5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 6. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 8. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as some travel is required.
