JOB OPENING: The Town of Mansfield is seeking a Youth Services Counselor for its Human Services Department to provide assessment of client (youth and families) needs, counseling, and to provide referral to needed and appropriate services such as treatment and rehabilitation services. Sample duties include: assessing client needs; counseling clients; case management; client advocacy; coordinating prevention programming; and coordinating positive youth development activities. This is a full-time, year-round position. $51,470/yr with a benefits package. The selected candidate will work some weekends and evenings to accommodate client needs and Youth Services Division programming; ability to work a flexible schedule is required. Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree supplemented by a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field. Considerable experience in counseling or case management required. LCSW preferred, not required. Possession of driver’s license required.
