********** JOB OPPORTUNITY ************ Urgent Requirement and send me your CV ranilf@gmail Senior Network Engineer (Mel - Contract) The main responsibilities of this role will involve: • Maintain up to date knowledge of network equipment and services • Development and implementation of projects to improve the network infrastructure • Provide strategic planning recommendations and escalate issues that may affect the ongoing effective operations of the environment where direct responsibility lies • Conducting acceptance tests and commissioning communications systems and equipment. • Acting as an interface between the organisation and suppliers/carriers/vendors regarding high-level technical issues • Analysing network traffic data and providing recommendations on performance improvements to network infrastructures as appropriate. • Ensure systems and network security is maintained as defined by Security Policies issued from time to time • Planning, designing, implementing, testing and optimising Firewalls, LAN & WAN hardware, software and related services • Perform traffic capacity and management analysis, change and reporting • Required to meet Customer and Business deadlines and be accountable and take ownership • Comply with and execute other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management candidate will demonstrate: • At least 3-5 years of experience within IT/Networking- Cisco CCNP or CCIE routing and switching • Sound knowledge around Juniper JNCIS, or JNCIP (Certification) • Sound working knowledge of the market, third parties and experience in an outsourcing environment • Strong knowledge of VoIP QoS, Diff Serv and carrier Cos over LAN/ WAN • Strong knowledge of carrier MPLS and SIP networks • In depth knowledge of internetworking concepts and troubleshooting • Strong knowledge of Juniper SRX, SSG firewalls and EX switching • Strong operational support, design and implementation of data services infrastructure comprising of Enterprise Core and edge switching, routing, Security, MPLS, QoS, routing protocols (BGP, OSFP, RIP, HSRP) and encryption • Strong knowledge of Krone MDF/IDF and Cat5e/Cat6, jumper, patch and testing • Ability to resolve problems professionally and systematically in highly stressful environments • Strong communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills • Relevant degree in Computing or equivalent experience and industry qualifications
