JOB POSITION | PLEASE SHARE | PROGRAMMER I’m currently in need of a full-time programmer / webmaster, based in Quezon City. I’m looking for a degree qualified individual, preferably with strong experience using Joomla! We run a variety of websites, including some web directories. The person will assume responsibility for setting up new developments (almost exclusively using the Joomla! CMF) on our servers, installing and configuring extensions and templates, integration of API’s, creation and implementation of custom code where required, regular updating of all Joomla! core, modules and plugins, general troubleshooting and other webmaster related duties. We own developer and/or multi-site style licenses for all of the commercial extensions that that we use with any degree of regularity, meaning that full documentation and software vendor support is readily available. Proficiency is required in PHP, MySQL, Java, CSS, HLMT5, etc. Our servers are outsourced to a very high end Joomla! specialist host with outstanding 24/7 support services, making detailed server knowledge unnecessary. The programmer will be working under my supervision. I am not a programmer, but have created most of the websites we manage (including the directories) and am highly familiar with Joomla! and all of the commercial extensions that we use.
