Candidate must have an understanding of how consumers use social media to engage with brands online. The applicant must possess a strong knowledge of social media tools and technologies that are used today. Social media coordinators will earn competitive salaries plus performance bonuses. The position offers complete account responsibility from initial contact to brand development and management to ad design. The applicant must be able to effectively manage multiple accounts and develop marketing strategies for long-term sustained success.The marketing process is extremely consultative. Within the first week of contact, social media coordinators will conduct conference calls and meetings with our clients to formulate brand concepts and direction. In addition to those responsibilities, you must also be able to: -Manage a minimum of 10 Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Yelp pages daily. -Engage with customers on all social media accounts on the daily basis. -Research and monitor trending hashtags and content. -Write monthly blogs for each client. -Create promotional content for clients that will increase revenue and brand exposure. Desired Skills and Experience 4 year degree in marketing or business is preferred. 2+ years of experience in marketing. 1+ years of experience in a technology based company. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with graphic design suites i.e. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Familiarity with social media management software i.e. Sprout Social, Hootsuite.
