****JOB VACANCY**** Job Title; Business Development Manager Area: Sheffield Salary: 18-25k Duration: Permanent New and exciting role based in Sheffield, working in a modern office environment, but will be predominately field based and will focus on two main areas including prospecting and winning business as well as account management. The successful candidate will generate sales leads and win new business and will also account manage existing clients. Main Duties and Responsibilities include: To actively seek and win new customers spending in excess of £6000 per annum by: Proactive prospecting Maintaining a consistent and professional approach to ensure a regular stream of new business revenue to achieve agreed profit targets. Building, maintaining and recording an accurate prospect database. Remaining fully involved throughout each tender and quotation process To maintain a set of defined customers including growing profit levels and retain customer accounts Understanding customers needs and developing professional relationships Adopt a structured development plan for each customer to maximize profit Analyse customer spend, identify opportunities for additional profit Communicate with the Sales Manager regarding any at risk accounts Monitor competitor activity Person Specification: The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: A track record of achieving and exceeding targets dealing with SMEs or corporate Good time management and client management Ability to generate new business Have a genuine desire to succeed Hold a full UK Driving Licence Excellent communication skills: both face to face and over the telephone Be computer literate and have good all round administration skills Demonstrable level of success in delivering customer service Team Player Highly organised and able to prioritise workload This role is on a permanent basis in Sheffield, salary 18-25k, excellent bonus scheme, company car, laptop and mobile phone included, staff incentives, 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.
