We are looking for installers who share our commitment to the highest quality of work, and can relate to our concept of “floating panels” – a sheer, beautiful plane of perfectly aligned panels that simply make you go “wow”! So Gecko is a specialist installer of rooftop Solar PV Systems, ranging from domestic scale right up to 250kWp on commercial and industrial premises. We’re seeking individuals or established teams who are as enthusiastic as we are about creating beautiful installations on any type of suitable building. As an Installer, you’ll be travelling to different sites working on projects representing the company on the front line. You will be required to liaise courteously and effectively with customers, other contractors and fellow employees. Your challenges will include: Working swiftly and productively while always meeting our quality standards Working individually and as part of a team Engaging positively with customers and colleagues, and remaining enthusiastic and cheerful, whatever the weather! Perhaps most significantly, you need to be reliable and take great pride in your workmanship. To be considered for this position you must have experience and be able to show examples of your work standards. Relevant qualifications will also be taken into account. Applicants for this role must possess a valid Green CSCS card or be willing to attend a course, at their expense, to acquire this. Also, due to the nature of this role, successful applicants will be required to undertake a CRB check. Possession of a valid UK driving licence is essential.
