JOB announcement for contemporary dancers: MONSTERBOX Audition for contemporary male and female dancer! Johanna Roggan is a young choreographer based in Dresden/ Germany. For her new production MONSTERBOX in 2014 she is searching for dancers! MONSTERBOX is a co-production of the Societaetstheater Dresden, HELLERAU - European Center for the Arts Dresden, Espaço do Tempo Montemor-o-Novo (Portugal) and the büro für tanz I theater I produktionen (Austria), premiering in June 2014. Audition: Saturday, November 30th 2013 and Sunday, December 1st 2013. Place will be announced. Audition by invitation only! You should be able to work with given material as well as being comfortable creating own material. Dates of performances: June 26th-28th 2014 at the Societaetstheaer Dresden, performances at HELLERAU - European Center for the Arts Dresden in September 2014. Dancers should be available for further performances planned in autumn/ winter 2014 and spring/ summer 2015. Rehearsals 2014: April 28th - May 11th, probably in Dresden, May 12th - 18th week off, May 19th - June 9th residency in Portugal, June 10th - 28th Dresden Payment: We plan to pay a salary of 2.500,00€ per dancer, plus extra fees for the performances. As we are still applying for money we cannot guarantee this amount. It might be less. BUT by the time of engagement we will know for sure how much money we can pay! We will try to offer accommodation in Dresden, at least help finding something appropriate. Travel costs to Dresden will be partly covered. Travel costs to Lisbon and accommodation there will be covered completely. You have to have a work permit for Germany and insurances.
