JOBS. EMPLOYMENT. EMPLOYERS. PRIDE. ..... I could be totally off but im just gonna spit this shit out for fun. In the good ol days employers were different from what Ive heard. There was a real relationship between employer & employee. People wanted to do a good job. They wanted to work hard and have pride in what they did. They wanted to be a part of something bigger than them. Tha relationship between employer & employee went both ways tho. Employers actually saw their employees as humans. Seems theres confusion nowadays. By my own experiences and observing my coworkers & friends over tha years I feel a lot of our choices lead down tha same road. You can be a so so employee, do tha bare minimum and give just enough to keep your job. Theres not much respect or pride in that for tha individual however they have accurately judged current employers.... realistic expectations to protect themselves. As an employee you are a number not a person. Very little is put into you so putting very little into your job would be tha logical approach. You can be an amazing employee. Hard working, ambitious, go above and beyond, put your heart and soul into it. You will keep your job and have respect and pride in yourself and tha job youre doing. However you have set yourself up to give and give and give to a taker. Employers who see you as a number. Your expectations will naturally be higher. You will expect tha employer to see your effort and dedication and hard work and to appreciate and value you. But they wont. And your heart and soul will eventually widdle down until youre miserable. or you become an employee who does tha bare minimum and you lose self respect. or you quit, take your losses and move on to a new company hoping things will be different. these are tha things I have felt and thought tha last couple years. it may be true and all around me....... but im free of all this now. Somehow I feel I became a participant/victim of this ugly truth thats all too common. But my mind has expanded. LIMITLESS is my new concept. This is no longer a part of my reality and I am very very grateful! :)
