JOHANNESBURGH – JOHANNESBURGH - JOHANNESBURGH Our client who specializes in the Manufacturing industry is currently looking to place a STORES SUPERVISOR JOB SUMMARY:- Responsible for the supervision of all Stores activities and staff. Manage staff in an effective manner to ensure maximum productivity, yet keeping to the company values. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:- Motivates and encourages Stores employees to achieve maximum productivity. Receiving, Despatch and Export Planning. Co-coordinating all other activities of the Stores. Capturing stock received (GRN) on SAGE Ensures that manufacturing orders for production gets delivered Booking Moulding production Moving stock correctly to the designated warehouses/allocations Ensure staff are utilized efficiently in order to meet set targets Responsible for quality, cost control, information control and the safety and welfare of all employees. Check, record and report any deviations. Responsible for the quality and quantity of all products received and despatched. Ensure all quality, health, safety and environmental standards are maintained (ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS) Promote good employee relations and deal with daily industrial relation problems. Complete daily reports accurately and on time. Carry out scheduled and daily stock takes. Maintain excellent housekeeping in all areas at all times Outsource planning when required Stock loss investigations General administration (filing of paperwork, etc.) KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:- Ensure that stock/inventory is accurate as reflected on the stock system. Ensure required delivery dates from suppliers, customers etc. are met as per requirement. Efficient and accurate issuing of product from Stores to outsourcing, factory etc. is maintained. Quality, quantity and product description of items received or delivered is accurate. Target ship dates for all export items are met. Accurate order picking Daily issuing of GRNs to Accounts CANDIDATE PROFILE: QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL SKILLS:- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification and preferably some related form of tertiary qualification. MS Word, Excel Accpac, PowerPoint, Outlook. SAGE, Mysis, Accpac, SAP knowledge is an advantage. PREVIOUS/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:- Experience in Stores Supervision or Stores Management will be an advantage. 2 Years experience in similar position and responsibilities. Understanding of manufacturing terms and concepts, as well as any relevant computer software will be an advantage. Any further experience relating to Warehouse, Stores, Management OR Supply chain will be an advantage.
