JOIN WSEN & GEICO as A Roaring Salute Pulls into Quaker Steak & Lube this Wednesday! GEICO’s new Paul Jr. Designs military tribute chopper hits the open road and will be pulling into Syracuse, NY at Quaker Steak & Lube Bike Night this Wednesday June 19th. Stop by and view this amazing spectacle at the GEICO/ WSEN 92.1 FM tent. GEICO’s Paul Jr. Designs (PJD) military tribute bike is a formidable promotion, as it binds two key components of GEICO’s business – military and Powersports. “The military tribute bike is currently being paired with GEICO’s first Paul Jr. bike – the Gecko bike − for an event in New York. Once that’s completed, we’ll begin using it at military and motorcycle events across the country and displaying it here at the office in Virginia Beach,” said Tom Garner, director of Powersports sales and service. “When you see the bike up close and personal, you’ll be amazed. Pictures just don’t do it justice.” It’s a patriotic gem. The chopper’s design features bright chrome accented by deep red and blue, plus a front wheel in the shape of a gold star. Imbedded medallions signify each of the five branches of U.S. military. The words “sacrifice,” “loyalty” and “honor” are prominently displayed. “U.S. Armed Forces” stands out in high relief down the fork. It doesn’t have a kickstand; instead, it is lowered by hydraulics. “We are so proud of this bike, and we are so proud of our military and the relationship that we continue to have with GEICO,” Teutul said. “The military tribute bike is truly amazing,” said Michael Baker, director of military marketing. “In our discussions with the PJD folks, we wanted to make sure they understood the importance of our relationship with the military and what it means to us. Paul Jr. did a fantastic job capturing that in a very tasteful and meaningful way. Anyone wearing the uniform of our nation today who sees this wonderful machine will know and understand the tribute. PJD absolutely hit this one out of the park!”
