JOS GOSPEL ART AND MUSIC AWARDS (JOGAMA) – THE GREEN AWARDS CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES This is to notify record labels, companies, copyright owners, Musicians, Audio and Video Producers/Directors, practitioners of various forms of gospel Arts and the general public residence in Plateau State that the Jos Gospel Arts and Music Awards; JOGAMA – THE GREEN AWARDS has commence receiving entries for consideration for the 2014 GREEN AWARDS slated to take place on Sunday the 30th of November, 2014. This event will take place after a charity concert in support of GIDAN BEGE ORPHANAGE HOME on Saturday the 29th of November, 2014 at the same venue. PANEL OF JUDGES: We are privileged to have seasoned personalities who have and are still doing well in their various fields of endeavors to form our judges this year, they include 1. Rev. Kenneth Gyang CATEGORIES: This year, after a proper deliberation with our panel of judges, we have concluded that is very paramount and important we give a very good attention to our local and indigenous genre of music and art, hence the categories have been restructured as follows; Male vocalist of the year | Female vocalist of the year | Group of the year | Male album of the year | Female album of the year | Song of the year | Audio Producer of the year | Video Producer/Director of the year | Colabo of the year | Sound Engineer of the year | Nigerian afro hip-hop Song of the year | New Rhythm/Style of the year (Originality) | Fusion style of the year (Indigenous) | Male Traditional album of the year | Female Traditional album of the year | Video of the year | Album Art of the year | New Artist on the blog | Spoken word of the year | Dance group of the year | Male Act of the year (Northern Zone) | Female Act of the year (Northern Zone) | Male Act of the year (Southern Zone) | Female Act of the year (Southern Zone) | Male Act of the year (Central Zone) | Female Act of the year (Central Zone) | Comedian of the year | Medley song/Album of the year | Gospel show of the year Other awards include: 1. JOGAMA Icon awards | JOGAMA Recognition Awards | Jos Prestigious Friends Award QUALIFICATION/CRITERIA Every song/video or work of art submitted for consideration most comply with the following 1. Most be a gospel product (Song/Video/Poem etc) 2. Most be in atleast a website for either listening or download 3. Works submitted most be original released and/or published in not more than 18 month (Eligibility period) 4. The artist most be a Plateau state based artist, not necessarily an indigene. MODE OF ENTRIES 1. Send in three copies of song on CD for audio and DVDs for videos. 2. Attach a hard copy of a recent photograph with the form (5*7) and a soft copy if necessary 3. Collect, Fill and submit the entry form at any of the designated outlets around you. or send it to our email: jogama@gmail 4.
