JOURNEY THROUGH LIFE HOW TO AVOID OR OVERCOME THE HEARTACHES AND FAILURES IN LIFE BY FOLLOWING THE PHILOSOPHY OF ISLAM (Updated-4: Work in progress) A journey through life using the Philosophy of the Art of Islam to attain a state of Nirvana (A state of no suffering or despair) and be free of, or avoid, heartaches. The common sense understanding is my own based on personal knowledge (views) and experiences from my own life and my reading and understanding of the English translation of the meaning of the Holy Quran(Islam also incorporates all those books by the one God(Allah) revealed earlier which are reconfirmed in the Quran). I will mostly refer to the Quran translated into English by Muhammad Farooqi Azam Malik which I use personally. I have compared this translation to others and found it to be most correct logically and by common sense. The Philosophy of Islam was intended for people of understanding having common sense. All through the entire book(Quran), the reference is always to ‘People of undersanding’(Wise , intelligent, knowledgeable, insightful and logical people are the primary target audience for the revelations). Those who are closed(illiterate or stupid) may not understand Islam as a philosophy but rather accepts the faith blindly as laws from the creator without pondering the logic behind these rules(wisdom) as such it’s important for all to know that the Quran says: The Quran, Al Anfal, Verse (22) Do not be like those who say We hear, but give no heed to WHAT THEY HEAR. For the worst animals in the sight of Allah are those deaf and dumb(stupid) people who DO NOT USE common sense- (the Quran) Al Isra, verse(35) You shall not follow anyone blindly in those matters in which you have no knowledge, the use of your ears and the eyes and the heart, all of these shall be questioned on the day of judgment (dont follow blindly). In Al- Baqarah(18) “Deaf, dumb and blind, they will never return to the right way” Al Baqarah(256) “There is no compulsion in religion. True guidance has been made clearly distinct from error(by the Prophets, Messengers and the scriptures of Allah). Therefore, whoever renounces ‘Taghoot’(false deities-Shaitaan) and believes in Allah has grasped the firm hand-hold that will never break. Allah whose hand-hold you have grasped hears all and knows all.” Preface/Introduction I felt that having been blessed with the understanding and knowledge which Allah has graced me with I feel the urge(Alhamdullilah) to make an epic revelation and draft a book/script called/named How to overcome/avoid the heartaches and failures of life- A personal journey with the Philosophy of the Art of Islam to a state of Nirvana(A state of no suffering) by way of understanding the logic, relevance, knowledge, application and the wisdom in the Quran(of the Quran) revealed for(to) those with understanding (As work in gratitude to Allah). I will share and explain how to attain this state(my personal views/journey) while having a relatively normal daily life experience(occasional everything but not in excess(Drinks( now no more or very seldom(generally wine)), Movies, Attire(not fashion(joking yes Islamic (whatever that means on which I will give my understanding (lol, its everything)appearance))), Friends(perhaps girlfriends(kidding yes those too)), Art, Dancing. Music, Work, Intoxicants(for some, individually relative to each person but not for myself(generally) and my way to Nirvana and is actually a conflict to all to attain the said state by my experience however, very seldom does little to affect you(your way/prosperity) if you balance by calling Allah when Sober(as soon as sober- next day or perhaps after 2days ; enough to feel close to God and not away from faith(Allah)) and a choice of ambition(this life or next or a balance to enjoy both?(lol, fools- for Nirvana it must be only Faith and then whatever seems within the Philosophical scope allowed(as one understands in Islam(Quran and the earlier reveals...)). When the Quran says earlier reveals the Quran is referring to those books whose contents are reconfirmed and not only those that have been categorically mentioned in the Quran including scriptures such as the Veda which states the worship of only one God(mentioning the name Allah) and the prophecy of the coming of the Prophet Muhammad(by name) and the same applies to the Sikh scripture which also says “worship the one god(mentioning the name Allah)”. So all these beliefs Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Sikhism are worshipping one God(mentioned by name as Allah(common name)) and other names as well. The names mentioned are all familiar to anyone who has read the Quran and knows the meaning of these names(in other books) because the same meanings(names and words) are used to refer to Allah in the Quran as well (as such those names are reconfirmed). The Quran includes all the earlier books revealed and we are meant to believe in those too save any part which is contradicted or varied in the Quran. It starts with explaining the primary Philosophy- there is an unseen common GOD(use common sense-How probable is it that this name Allah is used(or appears) for the one and only one unseen God by Pre Muhammad Jews(of Arabia- Wikipedia), Christians(of Arabia who as well use to pray at Kaba(Wikipedia-also naturally they would as all descend from Prophet Ibrahim), the Hindus(The Vedic and Upanishad followers) and the Sikhs (Wikipedia- The Sri Guru scripture) who is not from mythology but proven by/from History(proof/Proven)). Well we all know of the common nature of God in Judaism, Christianity and Quran Believers but what of the other two mentioned above(Hinduism and Sikhism)? Are they within the scope of People of the Book? Let us take note of Allah’s instructions to his prophet(The message to people of the book) in the Quran to be raised when proving the common nature of God among those who have been revealed a faith of Allah: The Quran, Sura Imran (64) Say: “O people of the Book! Let us get together on what is common between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we shall not associate any partner with him; that we shall not take from among ourselves any lords beside Allah. “ If they reject your invitation then tell them” Bear witness that we are Muslims”(those who worship and have submitted to Allah). What Sikhs believe or say in the Sri Guru Granth regarding their one God The Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the Sikh Holy Scripture describes the characteristics of God. Throughout 1430 pages, Guru Granth Sahib Ji describes and praises God. The opening of the scripture tells us about the description of God: God is One. He is the Supreme Truth. He the Creator, is without fear and without hate. He is immortal. He is neither born and nor does He die. By Gurus grace shall He be met. Chant And Meditate on His Name. In the beginning, He was the Truth. Throughout the ages, He has been the Truth. He is the Truth now and He shall be the Truth forever (Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 1). The most important aspect of being a Sikh, is to understand that, there is one endless God. He is indescribable, inestimable, indubitable, infallible, intangible, imperishable, immutable, immortal, immaculate, immanent, unconquerable, unique, formless, fearless, deathless, timeless, ageless, compassionate, omnipresent and creator of all. There is only the One Supreme Lord; there is no other at all. Spirit, soul and body, all belong to Him; whatever pleases His Will, comes to pass (Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 45). God loves everyone. Sikhs believe there is no one superior to God. Furthermore, Sikhs believe that God created all beings, animals, birds, creatures, including humans. When the first great Guru, the founder of Sikh faith, Guru Nanak Dev Ji gave this definition to the people who believed differently in God, they were surprised and they asked him, who told you this and how did God come in existence? The great Guru explained that God Himself gave him this information. God has always been present. The concept of time is very worldly. There is no time, beginning or end when it comes to God. This is very hard to understand for us humans because we are used to the concept of begin and end with time. People further asked Guru Nanak Dev Ji about what does God look like? The great Guru preached that God is formless. God is beyond gender and shape. He has no form, no shape, no color; God is beyond these three qualities. One understands Him, O Nanak, with whom God is pleased (Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 283). God has no body, He is the greatest Spirit of all and our soul is a part of Him. The main difference between Sikhism and some of the world’s other religions is that there are people who worship Jesus and believe Jesus is God, some people worship Buddha and believe Buddha is God. The Sikh Gurus themselves said that they are not to be worshipped. They expressed very clearly not to worship anyone except God. Guru Gobind Singh Ji even put it in harsh words and said, “Those who call me God will fall into the pit of hell. Consider me as a humble servant of God and have no doubt about it.” He wanted to be very clear that He is not God and should not be worshipped. One should only worship the One Almighty Lord. So in addition to the above God(Bhagwan(Creator)) is referred in the Sikh Book(reveal) by a few names which includes as well the name Allah. Further the name Allah is mentioned 37 times in the Sri Guru Granth(Wikipedia). The following are a few instances: First, Allah created the Light; then, by His Creative Power, He made all mortal beings. From the One Light, the entire universe welled up. So who is good, and who is bad? ||1|| (Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Ang 1349) The temple or the mosque are the same, the Hindu worship or the Musalman prayer are the same; all men are the same; it is through error they appear different. Deities, demons, Yakshas, heavenly singers, Musalmans and Hindus adopt the customary dress of their different countries. All men have the same eyes, the same ears, the same body, the same build, a compound of earth, air, fire, and water. Allah and Abhekh are the same, the Purans and the Quran are the same; they are all alike; it is the one God who created all. The Hindu God and the Muhammadan God are the same; let no man even by mistake suppose there is a difference. (Guru Gobind Singh, Akal Ustat, pg. 275) If the Lord Allah lives only in the mosque, then to whom does the rest of the world belong? According to the Hindus, the Lord`s Name abides in the idol, but there is no truth in either of these claims. ||1|| (Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Ang1349) The God of the Hindus lives in the southern lands, and the God of the Muslims lives in the west. So search in your heart - look deep into your heart of hearts; this is the home and the place where God lives. ||2|| (Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Ang 1349) - I do not keep fasts, nor do I observe the month of Ramadaan. I serve only the One, who will protect me in the end. ||1|| The One Lord, the Lord of the World, is my God Allah. He adminsters justice to both Hindus and Muslims. ||1||Pause|| (Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Ang 1136) What does Hinduism say about one God?(surprised? don’t be, it is true that many are not aware that Hinduism is in fact a religion of Allah) Now the very start is the fundamentals of Hinduism is BRAHAMA SUTRA(The creed of Hinduism) - which says God is one, not another, not at all, not at all, not in the least bit. Then before I go further we will refer to the Guidelines (Guidance) from the Smriti (not considered divine in Origin- by human). The Hindu scriptures are divided among Smriti and Shruti. The Shruti are the ones which are recorded as divine reveals written(recorded) as was heard(considered divine in origin) and Smriti are non divine in origin but from other people(Saints, Sage and such(etc). The Smirti are remembered and basically addresses(provides) Guidelines, Rules and Laws( while the Shruti addresses the fundamental faith) . The Shruti (deemed Divine) are mainly The Vedas and the Upanishads. The Smriti is comprised of Itihaas and derived from the books of Itihaas(History), whether real or otherwise and refers to The lessons(from the sagas(stories)) of Ramayan, Mahabarat and the Bhagavat Geeta. There are other books as well(Puranas etc)but before I address the Shruti I need as well to mention that The Bhagwat Geeta(associated with Mahabharat) says Those whose intelligence has been stolen by materialistic desires worship the demigods(not the real God)(Chapter 7, Verse 20) and before I explain what is God in Hinduism also know that Bhagwat Geeta says Almighty God is the lord of all the worlds(Chapter 10, V:3).(lol-get it no? Keep reading). Know the ones with common sense will figure out everything i.e. what is relevant and what is not and what seems in line(common) with the morals revealed in other Allah faiths. The stories maybe relevant but Im not going to embark on an analysis of the Epic sagas (The Ramayan and the Mahabarat). It’s not important to establishing what is the concept of GOD in Hinduism. Now know Sanskrit is an ancient language and the Vedas still remain in that language as such the possibility of corruption in the faith is minimal but all follow translations as modern Indians do not use Sanskrit for any purpose(not spoken or used today and is more than 4000 or more years old ). As such it’s important to know that The Sanskrit dictionary explains the word Allah as The name of God. So why am I mentioning Allah? Because he is mentioned by name and as attribute of the one God in Rigved at Bk2, Hymn1, Verse 11; Bk3 Hymn30, Verse 10; Bk 9, Hymn 67, Verse 30. So how do we know he is the same(God of Quran) keep reading! Rigved Bk 1, Hymn 164, Verse 46 says Truth is one, god is one but sages call him by various names?. In the Rigved there are no less than 33attributes(names) for the one God such as Brahama meaning Creator and Vishnu meaning Sustainer and so forth. Those who wish to know all confer with Bhrahamins who are well versed and knowledgeable of the Vedas and Hinduism. The names are easily recognisable to those who are versed and have read the Quran. Now Ill just list the parts for those who are able to read and figure out and if in the end you still dont know - its because you are not meant to(lol, confused). Allah says in the Quran, Sura Ar Rum (58-59) “The fact is that We have set forth every kind of example for men in this Quran, but whatever signs you may bring, the unbelievers are sure to say: “You are preaching falsehood.” Thus Allah has put a seal on the hearts of those who do not use their common sense And in Baqarah(18) The Quran says “Deaf, dumb and blind will never return to the right way” Chandogy Upanishad Ch6, Section 2: V1 reads God is one only, not a second. Sretasvatra Upanishad Ch 6, V9 reads of him there is no parents or lord; Svetasvatara Upanishad Ch4, V19 reads There is no likeness of him; Sretasvatara Upanishad Ch4, V20 saysHis form cannot be seen. Now the rest is relevant so please take note(lol), further Yajurveda Ch32, V3 says There is no image of him; he is unborn and should be worshipped; Yajurveda Ch40, V8 says God is bodiless and pure; Yajurveda Ch40, V9 saysThey are in darkness, those who worship natural things (air, fire, etc) and in more darkness who worship the created things. On top of the above obvious description of the Quranic God is the prophecy(his coming) of our Nabi(Messenger/Prophet) specifically by name in Rigved by the names Muhammad and Ahmed(both belong to Hazrat(his Holiness) Muhammad), the region from where he will come and the population of that town. Soo pretty conclusive and correct prophecy. Thus Veda(Vedas) and Upanishads are reconfirmed(by Quran) scripts. Upanishad also mentions righteousness as the key to paradise(lol, same as the Quran). AS for the other RISHI(others like Muhammad)mentioned in the books well it’s the obvious, Idiots- they are not God (they are either Saints(Rasul)or Prophets(Nabi) or messengers(Rasuls)). I understand Lords Ram and Krishna are mentioned there(Vedas)- well know some fools believe Jesus is God(demi-god/Gods son) so we can’t really blame the Hindu for their folly(oversight-misunderstanding). The King James version of the bible refers to Hazrat(His Holiness) Isa (Jesus) as begotten(fathered) son of God(this is addressed in the Quran and clarified) but I’m certain that in time they(the mislead) will read the Quran and the truth will defeat any misconceptions of Jesus being a demi-god. It’s when they realize that he(Isa) was no more or different than the others Nuh(Noah),(Musa(Moses), Yunus(Jonah), Ibraheem(Abraham), Muhammad(Muhammad), etc etc and the miracles by them(The Powers and nature/characteristics)). In any case God(Allah) is still the only creator(of heavens and the earth and all things therein) in there(Bilble) still so same God. Now know that the Vedas do as well foretell the coming of Lord Budhha(as such by virtue of this prophecy he(Lord Buddha) is as well a Prophet( as we know Vedas are from Allah)) and we also know Lord Buddha is as well confirmed from History and as such the Vedas were from a very special Prophet of Allah. The reason for Lord Buddhas confusion regarding God must have been from the corruption which had already taken place in the faith of Brahamanism or Hinduism as Hinduism is very old, and the symbol OM goes to the very beginning of the Brahamma creed(Hinduism)(estimated to be 4000-8000 or more years old). The Vedas are the first known(the oldest) hindu books. The teachings of Lord Buddha are from the Hindu teachings and in line with Qurans teachings also(knowledge or lessons of the right way) and as such is reconfirmed. I mean everything that is Buddhism is as well what Allah says as being the right way in Islam and is thus reconfirmed, however, there is no God in Buddhism so that part is missing and not there for confirmation or contradiction. Remember the Quran says it is a re-confirmation of earlier revelations. So Buddhism(whatever Buddhism is save the cycle of continuous rebirths) is reconfirmed. They(the Buddhists) are trying to follow the right path by following Lord Buddha’s teachings which are fine and in accordance with the Quran. So Hinduism(The Brahamma Sutra) advocates belief of one, only one God who is referred to by the name Allah alongside other names. So both Hindus and Sikhs are as such within the scope of those referred to as people of the Book(Those to whom Allah revealed a Book) prior to the Quran. From common sense it is also clear that people of the past(history) were all believers of many gods and all the one god faiths are his.? Think why would there be different faiths all calling people to believe in one god who is in description the same God and who has a name which appears in all the one God faiths? I leave it to you to come to your own understanding. Well what about the cycle of rebirth? Do we (Muslims) accept that belief? It is simple, Is there proof of such cycle in reality? There isn’t but one doesn’t go to hell if he is worshipping Allah and doing all that Islam preaches but believes in rebirth as well because there is a next life in Islam or in life of Muslims(those who believe and worship Allah) even if not a cycle of rebirth but as a Buddhist one dies a non Muslim and as such is governed by the Rules of Buddhism which is why they may be able to come back as a new soul(by Allahs will)-different rules but, why would one want to have a second term in this wretched place when they could be in the gardens of bliss? If one is given a choice of what one would like to pursue(as faith) knowing that all the faiths are an option most would I assume, opt for Paradise where it’s eternal bliss. I feel in time Inshallah(if Allah wills)we will all hopefully know all the faiths more comprehensively and the collective teachings, knowledge and wisdom will be the most desired while acknowledging(accepting) that in fact god is one for all(There is only one God). (My belief or understanding of God’s bigger final scheme or plan- this is as well mentioned in the Quran where it says Allah will unite all(bring everyone together) in the end. Ignorance is all that’s standing in this pursuit or goal but it will be Allah who decides when this ignorance will be removed and how) Some(Muslims) may raise the point that the fact that he(God) does no beget any heir(have any son/child) is not mentioned in Hinduism or Sikhism? To them I only want to clarify that this issue was not mentioned in the Bible or Torah( the ones followed today) either hence the misunderstanding or rather view of Isa(Jesus) was erroneously established and so this was then clarified in the last revelation till now, The Quran (as Muslims believe) but in fact Sikhism was revealed after(and their one God has no children mentioned either in line with the Quran). The Quran says we have revealed a Deen for each of you, so it’s all part of a grand scheme. I believe(or recognize) it is in fact part of The Perfect scheme By Allah to introduce Sikhism who would have a belief of the same god(as Islam) but also the philosophical aspect of Hinduism because Islam became very closed and narrow minded(stern and radical) and lacked(lost) the philosophical openness(perspective) which is required to open the hidden doors(in Islam) which was there earlier as well and had to be discovered and understood as I have. Sikhism respects all faiths and I can prove all(faiths) are in fact his(Gods) or part of Islam so we are meant to respect all faiths save the ones who worship deities(like Sikhism) but We(Muslims) don’t need to be intolerant to any faith as it is Allah who will address such acts(The Quran) and there is no burden on anyone to take any measure against such deity worshippers. We can and are told to inform them though(The Quran). In the end all will be judged as per their deeds(save the ones worshipping deities unless being done in ignorance(which is generally the case)) so perhaps all. Sikhism is a faith of Allah revealed after the Quran. Impossible to believe? then I challenge any to show me where in the Quran it reads that it is the last revelation that will ever be revealed by Allah and that Allah will not have any further Rasuls(messengers). Upon pondering the verses relating to Hazrat Muhammad being the last messenger and Prophet I found neither( him being the last messenger or last prophet) to be conclusive. Some translators said he is the Seal of the prophets while others said he has the Seal of the Prophets like the others, non claimed him to be the final Rasul(messenger). I believe(or accept) that he was both a messenger and a prophet because I have found information saying he had a Seal burned onto his back(so he wasn’t the seal(the end) of the prophets but actually had a seal). In other verses Muhammad is called nothing more than a messenger and a prophet like those before him. I’m not sure whether The Sikh Gurus were(may have been) Prophets but they were definitely Messengers(certainly) as I don’t know the entire Guru Script and am uncertain as to whether there are prophecies(Prophethood usually has prophecies(my observations) but I know(surely) they were Rasuls(Messengers). If there aren’t any prophecies(new) then we must accept that they were all Rasuls(Messengers of God) and not Nabi(Prophet). There is clear information that Hazrat Muhammad is not the final Rasul (he hasn’t been called or referred to as such in the Quran) so there can if so desired by Allah, be further messengers. Sikhism deals with many issues which have to be accepted to bring Hinduism and Islam under the same God. What does this mean then to muslims? Is it wrong to think the whole world is meant to follow the Quran? Ans: Yes it is as the Quran clearly says everyone will be judged by their Scripture(it would have said the Quran only). Allah only says and wants the world to be only of believers(those who worship him) which is as well best for them because judgment will be as per Allah’s decree(Rules) which has already been decided(Set). As such the Quran says in Al Baqarah (277) “Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness and establish prayers and regular charity will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” And in Al Baqarah(62)”Those who believe(In Allah (Muslims)) and those who are Jews, Christians and Sabians- whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and perform good deeds- will be rewarded by their Rabb; they will have nothing to fear of grieve”. So it’s clear that all those who will worship Allah and do good deeds will have nothing to fear. In the above verses there is no mention of excluding any who don’t face Kaba during prayer or when calling his names because it(praying towards Kaba) was advocated (mentioned) to Muhammad who used to look up when he prayed(The Quran), but it was not a requirement on all the Muslims and is not mentioned in the Quran where the prayer ritual is described or mentioned. All(Quranic Muslims) followed Muhammad as such all those who are followers of the Quran prayed facing the Kaba. The Hajj or Omra are not regular prayers and one can call Allah’s name sitting in any direction(I know as I got my prayers answered(some)). Allah is not sitting anywhere in/or on this earth, he is in his world which is above the Earth and heavens. The prayers all being directed towards one direction is a method of some nature to ensure that this Muslim ummah is seen as a virtual or a network of energy to that point from where something happens(perhaps an energy portal) that empowers Allah and his forces. I can’t tell as yet but there is a reason which shall be understood by common sense as is the case with everything in the Quran/Islam I’m sure. Further the Quran says pray facing(or towards) the Al Masjid al Haram at some places in the Quran so that point(area) is some form of reference point! Some may say well the Quran says “today have we perfected a deen for you which is Deen Al Islam” so there can be no other deens acceptable after this revealed deen(way of life). It is implied from the said statement that there were other deens as well revealed before to us but those were not perhaps considered perfect by Allah is his wise understanding(such as Buddhism which is as per Islamic lessons without the concern of Allah(God/s) who they accept is there and but the deen is based on a self imposed pursuit). So that was a deen(way of life) in line with Islamic lessons of the right path which came before the revelation of the Quran. Deen Al Islam’s faith is belief in Allah, Prayer and Charity and includes the teachings of the earlier books. If we analyze we find that this is as well the faith in Sikhism. The Gurus prescribed way of life is not in conflict or unlike the teachings of the Quran, charity, prayer, meditation, self restraint, Righteousness of which one symbol is their Bala(the bangle) and those things which are deemed righteousness in Islam are attributes to pursue in Sikhism also( Iman(strong faith in the God), Prayers, Charity(zakah), not seeking worldly or materialistic gains, and being steadfast in war times(also represented by the dagger) so it is very much within Deen Al Islam scope. It is also important to know the following: The Quran, Al Anbiya(24) “Show us your proof: here is the reminder(Al-Quran) for the people of my time and it also contains the reminder of those before me.”But most of them have no knowledge of the Truth, so they are averse. The above verse(mentioned to the Prophet Muhammed to say) clearly states that the reminder(Al-Quran) was meant for the people of his time(in the way that it was revealed) as such Al Baqarah says be a believer and do good deeds and you shall have nothing to fear from your Lord. Things such as killing the unbelievers were relevant then but now at this juncture in history as there is no longer the need to spread Islam by Wars and they(the Wars) were against those who were fighting the believers anyways, otherwise the Prophet was clearly instructed that his job was only to convey the message(“You are nothing more than a Warner; You’re mission is only to convey my message, etc etc”(The Quran)) and that he should not concern himself with the unbelievers or hypocrites, that is Allah’s prerogative(choice or contemplation or his problem)(The Quran). Most of the world is now Muslims and no one is fighting the Muslims(on the basis of faith/being against the faith) as such the verses in relation to such Wars seldom apply and the rest are now invited(meant to be) to deen Al Islam by preaching, arguments(submissions) and common sense(scientific and other proofs which are now undeniable). Therefore parts prescribing rules for Jihad to establish Islam are no longer relevant neither is taking slaves as bounty from Wars, speaking from behind veils which was in fact only mentioned for the prophets wives and not instructions to all believing women, etc etc..So we must understand what is good teachings(Philosophy) for this day and age and what is no longer relevant. Allah’s cause is as well fighting whoever is oppressing others unjustly because you are fighting for Allah’s duty-obligation(that is as well a Jihad). When there comes a situation where all are seeped in criminality acting as Godless tyrants forgetting the lessons of the Quran and Allah, actions to remove or remedy such a situation can as well be Allah’s cause(Jihad). Jihad now means struggle for Allah’s cause. Spreading the faith of Allah by fighting ignorance and hypocrites is also a Jihad. So Jihad is only relevant in certain ways now and no longer for fighting the unbelievers as they are not fighting the believers. Deen Al-Islam includes Brahamanism, Judaism and Christianity and so common sense dictates that Sikhism is within the deen as well even though it is a variance from the Quranic method of prayer. Prayer methods weren’t the same in the other deens either(as a pattern) nor are they all praying facing Kaba(Al Masjid al Haram). If you’re a believer in Allah(the One God) who is Allah in description, establishing Salah(prayers) and giving charity you are likely a faith as per deen al Islam. The do and don’ts are common generally in the major faiths. A few differences does not mean it’s a different Philosophy from what is in Quranic lessons or teachings for those who know what is exactly in the Quran and Islam. The basic(fundamental) philosophy of deen al Islam is worship the one unseen God(who is as per Quran’s description), establish prayers and give charity. It was the same deen told to be established since Hazrat Ibraheem so we know prayers methods are different in the faiths which are within deen al Islam not the belief and fundamental philosophy.
