JOYCE BANDAS CASHGATE BUSES KEY WITNESS MURDERED, DEATH LINKED TO JBS CAMPAIGN BUSES Daina Kadyanji, an accounts officer in the Accountant Generals Department at Capital Hill here in Lilongwe has been brutally murdered at her residence in high-density township of Area 23. She was killed at her house before her assassins dumped her lifeless body at Chiuzira within the capital. The late Kadyanji worked in the Ministry of Tourism before being transfered to the Ministry of Health and later the Accountant Generals Office where she has met her fate. Among other offices at the Account Generals Office, she worked in the Cheque Dispatch Office during the months the Joyce Hilda Mtila Bandas initiated Cashgate is reported to have taken its toll. As an officer in this office, she was identifying all people who came to collect cheques. However, recently she was moved to Pensions Section within the Accountant Generals Office. As an officer who identified all people collecting cheques from the Account Generals Office, the late Kadyanji was a key witness in almost all the Cashgate cases currently underway in the courts. Recently, she appeared in court testifying against Caroline Savala, a girlfriend to President Joyce Bandas first son, Geoffrey Kachale. Before her gruesome murder over the weekend, she was due to appear once more and testify in more Cashgate cases including those of Maxwell and Alice Namata. Most critical of all cases was that for the Ministry of Tourisms suspended Chief Tourism Officer Leonard Kalonga. Kalonga, on orders from acting President Joyce Hilda Mtila Banda, using Malawi Government money, purchased 5 buses for campaign for the governing Peoples Party. 4 of those buses were impounded by the Police when they arrived in the country and the other one which arrived separately was taken to State House for use by Mrs Banda. She is currently using that Cashgate bus during this campaign period. Meanwhile, it has also been established that Daina Kadyanji was also a key witness in the on-going investigation of the former Budget Director, Paul Mphwiyo. Whilst serving in his capacity as Budget Director, Mphwiyo is being probed for issuing cheques to a company that belonged to his sister. Paul Mphwiyo is reported to have personally collected some of the cheques from the Cheque Dispatch Office where the late Daina Kadyanji worked. Achoke! Achoke! Achoke!!!
