JUDGMENTS: HOW BABY IN THE WOMB OFFENDS [[Romans 9:11-13]] Even before they were born or had done anything good or bad (so that God’s purpose in election would stand, not by works but by his calling) – It was said to her, “The older will serve the younger,” just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” From the reference, you will agree that the twins had not even done anything good or evil, yet God already judged them in the womb: God loved one and hated the other. 1. The first judgment of God is the judgment according to His election or Purpose, His calling and Mercy: “It is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy” (Romans 9:16). This judgment is Free and Favour, (not Fair). 2. Then the last judgment of God is the judgment according to works (Ecclesiastes 12:14). This judgment is Free and Fair, (not Favour). So the babies in the womb may not be judged according to their works, but they may be judged according to the purpose and calling of God: One of the differences between the two judgments I listed above is that the first judgment judges people according to what they will do or what they are yet to do in the future, while the last judgment judges people according to what they did in the past. The sin of the babies in the womb is not judged by what they did in the past or right there in the womb, but by what they will do in the future. So the foreknowledge of God who knows the end from the beginning can call a baby in the womb a transgressor, having known what the baby will do in the future: As it is written, “…for I knew that you will deal very treacherously, and was called a transgressor from the womb. For my names sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for you, that I do not cut you off.” (Isaiah 48:8-9) When the three wise men knew the birth of Jesus, they saw his Star: The Star contained the information of what He will do even as the King of the Jews which also helped them to select the kind of gift to bring to the King of the Jews. The next time He was publicly declared to the world as the King of the Jews, Pilate wrote the inscription of his cross “JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS” (John 19:19). Every coming baby has an angel or star that contains the information of what that baby will do, and sometimes that is enough offense for the enemies to want to kill that child. However, I am not talking about sin or offense against enemies but rather to find out what or how a baby in the womb could sin against God. Again I ask this: Can a baby in its mother’s womb sin against God? I have two answers to that question, and each according to the application of each of the two judgments of babies I described above (First and Last Judgments): 1. Applying the First Judgment – A baby in the womb can offend while in the womb, but the offense will not be counted as sin because the First Judgment only applies to them until they come out of the womb. 2. Applying the Last Judgment – A baby that is out of the womb can sin while coming out of the womb and the Last Judgment will apply, unless the baby repents. APPLYING FIRST JUDGMENT – SIN OF BABIES IN THE WOMB [[Romans 9:11-13]] Even before they were born or had done anything good or bad (so that God’s purpose in election would stand, not by works but by his calling) – It was said to her, “The older will serve the younger,” just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” This scripture said before they were born and before they did anything good or bad, God’s purpose in election stood, not by works but by the calling of God: God judged them and loved one at the expense of the other. This happened while they were in the womb before they were born. But let me take you further into probing whether they offended while in the womb, despite it said they did neither good or bad while in the womb. I am saying they did not do good individually or did bad individually, but they offended collectively. So the scripture is saying that the election did not choose one because one offended and the other did not, but that both of them were at the same phase so that neither of their works came to play when one was chosen: The Last Judgment held them to be equal when the First Judgment separated between them to be unequal. So then what was their collective offense according to my own word? Their collective offense was that both of them fought or struggled in their mother’s womb. One of them should have proven to be righteous or humble by allowing the other to have his way, but they both struggled till they came out. You may ask; “Does their struggle qualified to be call an offense?” Yes, because by struggling in their mother’s womb, they inflicted pain on their mother which made their mother to ask “Why me? Why is my own case different?” Then she went to enquire from God, before God told her that two nations are in her womb… the elder will serve the younger (Genesis 25:22-24). Besides that, they offended each other by struggling thus. APPLYING LAST JUDGMENT – SIN OF BABIES IN THE WOMB [[Hosea 12:2-3]] “…The LORD will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him. He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God:” The scripture said that Jacob will be punished because on coming out of the womb, he held his brother’s heel. Indeed he held his brother by the heel when they gave birth to him according to Genesis 25:26, which was why he was named Jacob. It was not because they struggled in the womb that he was to be punished, but that he brought that fight outside the womb and so the Last Judgment picked it up and will repay him for what he did. Esau was exonorated from that indictment, even though he also fought in the womb; and that was because he did not show it while coming out as Jacob did. Another person who managed to escape that indictment was Pharez because though he held his brother, he did not bring it outside the womb then. When his twin brother brought out his hand from the womb, he managed to bring it in again and I assumed that he held his brother by the head and will not allow him to come out; which made his brother to withdraw his hand back into the womb and before his brother could turn to use his head to come out first (instead of his hand), Pharez came out before his brother by breaching: therefore he was named “Pharez” (Genesis 38:27-30). The last judgment is not after the sin of the babies in the womb, but that which is seen when they are out of the womb: Babies do mess-up in the womb, defecates in the womb, kicks or blows in the womb, struggles in the womb etc. But when a baby lies or speaks falsehood or goes astray as soon as it is born, then the last judgment will pick that against him: As it written, “The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies” (Psalms 58:3).
