JUDICIAL APPOINTMENT SHOULD NOT BECOME POLITICAL APPOINTMENT July 4, 2014 at 4:28am The division of authority over law and decentralization of power in law by establishment of 3 organs of Government viz. (1) Legislature, (2) Executive, & (3) Judiciary is a part of check and balance system of law. The judicial appointment is selective and not elective like that of political appointment in democratic form of Government. However, when the judicial appointment becomes a political appointment by the scale of check and balance system of law tilting towards political executive side from judicial adjudication side of law, such tilting creates law and order problem within such system of law itself.
