JULY - GALGA RESCUED IN EXTREMIS FROM WHERE THEY HAD ALREADY DUG HER GRAVE. Our vet received a call to go and PTS a galga with "skin problems". She explained that that was not enough reason for euthanasia, but they insisted. When she got there, she found the galga sitting by the grave that they had already dug. July is 6-7 years old, and has leishmania, ehrlichia, mastitis (she has recently had pups) and a uterine infection, anaemia and very few platelets. But the people at Centro Veterinario Sonia Galán are willing to look after her, and so are we. What about you? Will you give us a hand?
