JUNE 26, 27 & 28 Activities #1 THURSDAY - JUNE 26 - Last Soccer Match Need MORE volunteers to come out and pass Flyers out after the game. Let me know if can make it. There are so many corners people leave by. We need to cover all the exits. Many people ask questions, so we need as many people there. Earn 3+ #2 FRIDAY NIGHT JUNE 27th - MOVIE NIGHT (sleep over) & FREEDOM WALK Project Training and meeting. 7PM Location to be announced. #3 SATURDAY JUNE 28th - FREEDOM WALK Prep promotions. PART 1. We will meet and pass out fliers and put up posters until Lunch Time, then eat Lunch at an ALL U CAN EAT BBQ. Mmmmm!!! Then back to passing out fliers. Earn 6+ Volunteer hours! PART 2. We need some volunteers to man the booth at KOLABORATION 2014 @ the Troubadour. (maybe, still waiting an answer) Today they sent out an event promo to 1000s of people across America and our event was also mentioned. NICE! Earn More ++ Volunteer Hours NEWS FLASH! Bam! Last Weekend was a crazy schedule and VERY SUCCESSFUL one! Thank you everyone for all the hard work passing out fliers at church. THANK you to Charlie, Minkyu, Chris, Joshua and Huge for coming to the Soccer game to cheer on Korea while passing out fliers to crazy fans. Thank you Minkyu for letting us sleep over Saturday Night and attend Mass with your family at St. Basil and letting passing out fliers to everyone there. Progress Updates! **Spoke at the monthly Heung Sa Dahn Meeting. **Handed out Flyers at the Forerunners Lions Club Inauguration meeting **Spoke at the Wilshire Lions Club Inauguration meeting **Met with the Pacific Skies Aviations @ Torrance Airport. Our Aviation Air Scout sponsor school. We are the only air scouts in America!!! **Met with Director with the director of the Central committee of Democratic Congress on Global Koreans- They may become another sponsor of the troop with a little help and more convincing. *** Met a Lawyer from Korea who is connected to the korean Congress and President. He is going back this week and will report about our troop and the Freedom Walk to the Korean Government and other organizations. He was so impressed to see our scouts out passing fliers on the hot day on behalf of Koreans. He promised to be our spokes man in KOREA via the Chosun Blog.
