JUNE 2ND DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorta... We woke up at aaron and megans again. Thomas tummy had been hurting so they had to go to the store and get him some prison flavored ramen. Ha! One big difference between Socal and the Northwest... in Socal you eat a bowl of dicks... not a bag! We stopped by Brad Ziggens museum of rock before we left town and he hooked us up with a bunch of drum stuff that Matt busted up along the way. THANKS AGAIN BRAD! Also, the story about his wife Lindas Doll Hut and the film documentary made me proud to have played there and wannna see the documentary. After the drink he made me I suddenly felt all the energy drain out of me... system shutdown. It was weird. Without the next gig to run to and the power up process I realized how tired I am and how hot I run out here. I passed out for awhile and Matt drove us North on the 101. HA! I remember travelling with PORTRAIT OF POVERTY and they would make fun of me for enjoying the scenery and just run down the freeway to the next gig. Now... we stop everywhere and its like Shawn and Matt are looking up for the first time and seeing america rolling by. We pulled into Pismo beach, got the first hotel room of the tour, pizza, pot, beer, ahhhhh. THANKS SHAWN!!!!! Everyone has a big smile and nobody wants to stop. I got my energy back too. Brian called from everett and told us goddam he wishes he was still in the van drinkin and stinkin. In the morning its off to the capital of pirate world... PIKEYS in Santa Rosa! SNFU and NO BRAINER! >:)
