JUNE’S ‘YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE AWARD’ WINNERS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED! CHARLIE CLARK – PHARMACIST Charlie initially joined the Trust in August 2007 and stayed in the Trust after qualifying. She took a secondment post as an Oncology Pharmacist and even met her husband whilst working in the Trust. Charlie’s nomination said: “Charlie is so dedicated and embraces the Trust values of kind, safe and excellent.” SUE FREW – INTERIM FINANCIAL CONTROLLER Sue started in the Trust back in 1989, and is currently on a secondment as a financial controller, managing the bank account, cash flow and financial reporting for the Trust. Sue’s winning nomination said: “She has worked above the level at which one would normally expect an experienced financial controller to operate, and shown dedication and commitment to her role and to the Trust.” OPERATIONS CENTRE The Operation Centre Team is made up of patient flow Managers and Operational Matrons, and are responsible for co-ordination of trust activity 24 hours a day. The winning nomination said: “This team are the Trust’s family silver and should be commended for how well they have kept the Trust afloat despite the pressure in ED and bed capacity.”
