JUST ANOTHER RANT, but I just got home a few minutes ago and have been contemplating since I left Portland. Some guys at work are supposedly jealous of the opportunities Ive been getting. One, I have worked my ass off for this with no complaints. Two, Ive worked almost a whole month straight from 5am-7pm or later and I never mind to work late or on my days off. Three, Im proud of my work ethic and the quality of my work. I dont do things half assed because of the price Im getting for it. I see every car I work on the same, and will do as best as I can on it. I see every car needing work as dollar signs, not more work to do so I am unable to leave work early. The funny thing is that when I try to encourage or lead by example, Ive gotten that I have no life, or that they have better things to do that they cant do this or that. THEN DONT COMPLAIN when you dont get opportunities or live comfortably the way I do. My job consists of putting in work. You kind of make your own hours, but that means working more to make more. I am the type to be positive and see everything as time put in for an opportunity or something rewarding in the long run. People nowadays dont get that, but get mad when I get a chance to go to a different city to work with a rental, hotel and expenses paid for or found out Im doing well for myself. Keep hating and doing the same shit because the work Im putting in is showing. I guess theres a reason why not everyone in this world can succeed, because they help the ones who are successful shine brighter.
