JUST FOR A WHILE Life is not a 100 meters dash where speed is - TopicsExpress

JUST FOR A WHILE Life is not a 100 meters dash where speed is all that matter, rather life is more of a marathon race, with many turns and twists, where focus, endurance, perseverance and attitude matter. You may not be moving at the speed which you want, but it is better to be moving slowly than to be on a spot. It is also better to be moving slowly than to crash due to speed. If you dont give up you will surely get to your destination. Most people that saw life as a 100m race, have crashed in their marriages, businesses, and other areas, while some of them have crashed into eternity. Yes, you may have your own agenda and time to achieve them, but remember that Gods agenda and timing is the best. And if you resort to self help to make things happen for you against his will for your life, you may end up living in regret for the rest of your life. No matter the challenges, see life as a marathon race, with many laps, turns, ups and downs. It is not how you start that matter, but how you end. You may not have a job yet, you may not be married yet, you may not have gone on NYSC with your mates, you may even be sick now, you may have lost your husband or parents, you may have married but without a child, and you may even think that the whole world is against you. But remember, many winners of London, New York and other Marathon and mountain races never won right from the first lap. But they grew in confidence as the race grew, and won at the end. You will surely win if you don,t quit. Blaming yourself, blaming the devil or even blaming others for your challenges or comparing yourself with your class mates, your neighbors, family members and others wouldnt help your course. It is better you focus on yourself and your dreams, than disseminating energy on others through hatred, envy, jealousy and comparison. If you can wait just for a while, and with a positive attitude your situation will definitely turn for better, but you must appreciate the fact that life is a marathon, not a sprint. Definitely your time will surely come.
