JUST IN...visit http//:nls2014courtplacementdirective.edu.ng Due to the sudden unprecedented Judicial workers nationwide strike, ALL STUDENTS on placement at various Magistrate, Area and Customary courts, are to with immediate effect, proceed to various POLICE STATIONS at various state, local govt and town of respective post for their various externship excercise. ACTIVITY AT THE POLICE STATION All students are required to: 1. Reside and lodge at the various police cell of the various police station pending the suspension of the strike by the Judicial workers; 2. Ascertain how bail is applied for, obtained and why bail is for sale at the police station contrary to the provisions of the CFRN, CPA, CPC and ACJL; 3. Mode and procedure for interogation at the police station and make reflective opinion/comments on constitutional safeguard; 4. Students are to prepare and bring a checklist of their experience and reflective opinion/comment in both hard and soft copy (in powerpoint) and presents it at the court of public opinion. OUTCOME At the end of this exercise, students will bé able to identify how soothing and luxurious it is to bé under the Nigerian police custody... ASSEMENT ................
