Bartlett Jr. Mayor of Tulsa Office of the Mayor City Hall, 175 East 2nd Street, Suite 690, Tulsa, OK 74103 Mr. Mayor: My name is RJ Smith, a screenwriter and novelist. I am writing the true crime book, film script and documentary about the horrendous incident that took place on Good Friday 2012, in which five Americans were shot, and three lost their lives, simply because of the color of their skin. It is such a huge undertaking to get this right, to portray the hate and ugliness in this act. Ill be in TULSA this spring and would appreciate your audience. I want to get this right, and am interested in getting the facts straight. PERSONALLY, I equate this act of hate and murder with the 1965 Bloody Sunday attacks and most recently the George Zimmerman shooting.
