JUST THINKING! I am a curious person by nature and like to see why things work like they do. With that in mind I began to think about why the President and his party would close places like the National Mall and other sites that are open parks to all on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, basis. My usual cry in tracking political motivations is “follow the money trial.” But there is little money expended or gained by the opening or closing of parks, memorials, and federally owned lands. Couple that with the fact that the Andrews Air Force golf course has remained open, it seems to point to a personal political agenda involved. It is my understanding that “Barry” Hussein Obama likes to play golf at Andrews Air Force Golf Course and it must be kept open for his personal enjoyment while PX stores on military bases are closed. He has also decided that funds for families that have lost family members in combat will not be forth coming. What? Why? I think B. Hussein O. has an agenda. It is first to destroy the strength and character of the United States. And secondly, his agenda is to turn our great country to complete socialization and dependent on government. These steps have historically been used the world over to bring dictatorial power into play. Let’s ask the question, “Who primarily visits national parks Yosemite National Park and others? The Park Service does not log attendance numbers at individual parks by race or ethnicity. But in a comprehensive survey it commissioned in 2000, only 13 percent of black respondents reported visiting a national park in the previous two years. That compared with 27 percent for Latinos, 29 percent for Asians and 36 percent for whites. Jim Gramann, a visiting social scientist with the Park Service who is overseeing a review of a follow-up survey in 2008 and 2009 that is to be released early next year, said the gap persisted. “The demographic face of America is not reflected in national park visitation, with a few exceptions,” Mr. Gramann said. In the large Western parks especially, he added, visitors are overwhelmingly non-Hispanic white, highly educated and affluent. Park Service officials have identified factors like cost, travel distance and lack of information — for example, ignorance about what activities the parks offer — as barriers to visits. Park Service officials emphasize that the demographics vary, and that parks like the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site in Atlanta and the Manzanar National Historic Site in Independence, Calif., site of a World War II detention camp for Japanese-Americans, draw diverse crowds. But attendance tends to be more homogenously white at wilderness parks like Yosemite, where a 2009 survey found that 77 percent of the visitors were white, 11 percent Latino, 11 percent Asian and 1 percent black. This translates into those who vote for the party rather than the good of all. How about the slap in the face of our military? The United States has the best totally volunteer military in the world. Even with the cuts in financing to the military, the quality of men and women is so outstanding that no country in the world comes close. As long as this military exists the United States can only be attacked by terrorist and cowards that use sneak tactics to harm unarmed civilian populations. If our military becomes disheartened and the enlistment figures cannot maintain the level of men and women needed to man our commitments, the country will then have to resort again to a draft. Thus the quality of our military will be reduced and allow The United States to become more like the rest of the world. The political parties of the United States differ little in their agenda for America. We have moved ever so slowly away from our Constitutional Republic toward mob rule of democracy. Many today understand democracy as a wonderful rule of the popular will of the majority. But unless it is within the framework of the Constitution is no more than simple mob rule. It is time for Americans to set aside division based on race, religion, economics and other likes and dislikes. If we are to survive we must stand together for the country we once were and will become again. We must become again the individuals that created industries, farms and homes that produce men and women of character to lead our country forward. Throw out the politicians of personal profit.
