JVP GOES TO THE JUF RALLY FOR ISRAEL. Last night, JVP-Chicago activists disrupted the Jewish United Federation (JUF) Stand with Israel fundraiser for Israel. (fundraiser for those poor suffering Israelis who need to, what? get their nails done?) Our basic message: shame on you! for supporting occupation and siege, for killing children, for killing families. And a call for Boycott, Divestment, Sanction now. How many lies can these Israel supporters tell themselves? Face it, Hamas did not launch those bombs that flattened houses and killed whole families. Hamas did not shoot children fleeing in the street. Hamas did not aim those mortars at schools and hospitals and mosques, at medical personnel and ambulance drivers. Israel killed more than 2000 people. Not Hamas. Not Hamas. Not Hamas. Press was not allowed at the event, so our message didnt get out to the general public -- but the message is becoming clearer: Thousands of Jews in America DO NOT SUPPORT ISRAELs CONTINUAL CAMPAIGN ON THE PALESTINIANS of SIEGE, DESTRUCTION, DISPOSSESSION AND SLAUGHTER.
