Jack Welch Was Right – The Obama Administration Cheated Would you be surprised if I told you that the Obama administration may have stolen the 2008 election? Would you be surprised if I told you that the government may have coordinated a lie to make the President look better in the run up to the election? Think back to October of 2012… The unemployment rate fell to 7.8% in September, down from 8.1% a month earlier… That was the biggest one-month gain in more than nine years... The big drop in the unemployment rate a month before the presidential election brought cries of disbelief and conspiracy theories from Jack Welch and other critics of the Obama administration Friday. But the Labor Department was quick to dismiss such claims. Looking back, Jack Welch’s tweet is the reaction that sticks out above the rest, but there were plenty of observers wondering the same thing; how was a drop this precipitous possible? Liberal pundits had a field day with conservative reaction to the job numbers, labeling anyone willing to believe that the numbers could be fudged an “Unemployment-Rate Truther.” As if the federal government has never lied to us before, and more specifically the Obama administration lies to us so often that our default setting should be CYNICSM. The Obama administration has lied about the targeting of conservatives by the IRS, and then when the truth is discovered they’ve tried to cover it up and spin the findings. They’ve lied about what happened at Benghazi and why. The more we find out about the al-Qaeda attack on the consulate, the more it seems that the Obama administration was lying about everything from the moment the attack began. They’ve lied about the Justice Departments involvement in the AP and Fox News scandals, and about how they were persecuting Fox News reporter James Rosen. They’ve lied about the length and breadth of the NSA domestic spying program, and they continue to obfuscate and fudge the numbers as new reports are leaked each day. How about the lies that the administration has spewed about Obamacare?
