Jack and I saw Gods Not Dead this weekend. Anything containing the sacred truth of salvation in its simplest form registers as folly to those who are perishing. These are extremely dark days we are living in and people truly are worshipers of self and lovers of every other meaningless attachment they can find. Hearts are ice. Truth is mocked. I asked the young woman who worked the ticket counter if she would be seeing the movie and she condescendingly shook her head no - clearly signifying it was beneath her to see such a thing. I smiled and said, But the message is so important... You cant complicate the simple message of who Christ is. The simplicity confounds those who believe they are intelligent and wise when they are really fools. And you certainly cannot intellectualize God out of existence. What fools. My son was moved which moved me. We had the most important conversation all the way home about sacred things, eternal things. The movie quickened in him the need to seek the Lord unto that single, saving decision which I believe he will be settling very soon. #Unashamed #eternalseparationfromGodsucks
