Jack loves all sports, but seems to be especially fond of the baseball season. Hes had fun playing for our own BDP Crushers league team since he was old enough for Tball ;-) These past two years, he was also given the opportunity to play on a Norway Travel and AllStar team. Great group of kids and Coaches. During the weekend travel team tournaments, everyone wore their own home uniforms. I loved that, not only because it gave us a Sandlot look :-); but also showed that kids who competed against each other during the regular season could come together as one team and work as a unit with all differences aside. (Ok, in all honesty, it was probably just cheaper to have them wear their own uniforms than purchase travel team ones, but Im sticking with my theory. ha!) Jacks immense love of and talent for sports comes through his daddys family. His PeePaw and MeeMaw live too far away to be at every game (which they would do in a heartbeat!), but have followed the photos and posts, and been able to make an occasional summer visit to cheer on their grandson at his game.
