Jackie and I would like to congratulate the Pacific Northwest Director of CIA Stephen Fleischman who has been named the March cabinet member of the month! This is less in recognition of one month, as it is to his body of work for the entire year. We have had an incredibly successful year, from publicity, to activism, to debate and conventions, however most important to all of this success has been the strength of our chapters, something Stephen has been integral in since he took on this position. We had a record breaking Fall State and will be having the second largest Spring State IN HISTORY this weekend, and a big part of this has been the consistency of the CIA department under Stephens leadership this year. The bi-weekly calls havent stopped, Stephen has done a fantastic job this year communicating between departments to make sure chapters are getting the information they need, and has also done a fantastic job keeping our elected officials in the loop on the health of each regions chapters. CIA is imperative to the success of our state, because to judge the success of a state/administration, most of what can quantitatively be judged is based in tax paid chapters, tax paid members, and convention attendance, three areas weve excelled in, and three areas that Stephens hard work has made our state look very successful. Chapters are the building blocks of JSA, and theyre as strong in our state as theyve ever been, thanks Stephen. I wont be naive, this weekend Stephen will be running against our wonderful Director of Publicity Hari Mahesh (September Cabinet Member of the Month) for the position of Governor. Be thankful, PNW, that we have two incredibly qualified leaders running and that this state will be in such capable hands next year. Its been an honor watching you two grow, and no matter who replaces me, the PNW will continue to succeed. Best of luck to both of you, and congrats again Stephen!
