The driver sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment. 0628 hrs Deputy Bryant responded to Morrill Road in Blackman Township for a Car Deer Crash that occurred in Rives Township. 0650 hrs Deputy Caroffino responded to Horton Road in Summit Township in reference to a Residential Alarm. 0704 hrs Deputies Sukovich and Caroffino responded to the area of Sears Road near Springbrook Road in Summit Township in reference to Suspicious Subjects in the area. The vehicle was located and stopped. The driver was arrested for OWI and the passenger was arrested for Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle. 0830 hrs Deputy Hiller arrested a subject in the lobby with an outstanding warrant. 1242 hrs Deputy Wichar responded to Flansburg Road in Leoni Township and assisted the Blackman-Leoni Public Safety with a Personal Welfare Check. 1245 hrs Deputy Sukovich responded to West Franklin Street in Summit Township in reference to a Larceny report. 1310 hrs Deputy Deering responded to West Michigan Avenue near I-94 in Parma Township in reference to a Motorist Assist. 1317 hrs Sergeant Watson responded to Harben Street in Summit Township in reference to a Residential Alarm. 1334 hrs Deputy Sukovich responded to Glendale Road in Summit Township in reference to a Fraud report. 1426 hrs Deputy Wichar responded to Case Rd. for a welfare check. 1545hrs Deputy Deering conducted a traffic stop on M-99 near I-94 in Parma Township. The subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant. 1556 hrs Deputy Sukovich and Bryant responded to W. Washington and arrested a subject on an outstanding warrant. 1831hrs Deputy Coughlin was dispatched to East McDevitt in Summit Township for a fraud report. 1840hrs Deputy Freeman was dispatched to I-94 near Clear Lake in Grass Lake Township for single vehicle minor personal injury accident. 1857hrs Deputy Coughlin was dispatched to 19th Street in Summit Township for a personal welfare check. 1920hrs Deputy Coughlin was dispatched to Hazelwood Blvd. in Summit Township to assist protective services. 1959hrs Deputy Ruge was dispatched to South Dettman Road in Summit Township for a personal welfare check. 2010hrs Deputy Beard was dispatched to Harshberger Road in Leoni Township for a personal welfare check. 2025hrs Deputy Beard was dispatched to Edna Drive in Grass Lake Township for a property security check. 2045hrs Deputy Coughlin was dispatched to Spring Arbor Road in Summit Township at the animal shelter for a citizen turning in a dog. 2105hrs Deputy Beard was dispatched to West Michigan in Parma Township for a personal welfare check. 2159hrs Deputy Freeman was dispatched to Meyers Avenue in Summit Township for a property security check 2203hrs Deputy Beard was dispatched to the area of Burning Tree Lane in Blackman Township for shots fired. 2204hrs Deputy Ruge was dispatched to Hankered Road in Henrietta Township for a tree down. 2209hrs Deputy Ruge was dispatched to the area of Henry Road in Rives Township to assist Beverly Hills, Michigan Police in located a 93 year old missing Alzheimer’s patient whose phone was pinged to that area. While enroute a motorist assist was called in on Churchill near Territorial Road for a vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks driven by an elderly subject. It was determined to be the missing subject. 2335hrs Deputy Ruge conducted a field contact on Morrell near Brown Street. The subject was cited for curfew. 2341hrs Deputy Freeman was dispatched to 7th Street in Henrietta Township for a verbal domestic. 0002hrs Deputy Coughlin was dispatched to South Broadmoor in Summit Township for trouble with juveniles. 0043hrs Deputy Ruge conducted a traffic stop on Biddle near Mechanic Street. The driver was arrested and lodged for operating while intoxicated. 0129hrs Deputy Coughlin was dispatched to Maybrook Drive in Summit Township to assist Summit Fire with a fallen subject. 0145hrs Deputy Coughlin was dispatched to West Clark in Summit Township for disorderly subjects. 0223hrs Deputy Coughlin was dispatched to Spring Arbor Road in Summit Township for a property security check. 0239hrs Deputy Freeman responded to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and took into custody a subject with an outstanding warrant. 0311hrs Deputy Beard was dispatched to South Jackson Street for a personal welfare check. 0404hrs Deputy Coughlin was dispatched to South Dettman for a property security check. 0445hrs Deputy Freeman conducted a property security check at the Jackson County fairgrounds. Deputies responded to 40 calls for service, conducted 24 traffic stops and made 6 arrests.
