Jada is getting ready to celebrate Corey’s 1st birthday next week. She is thrilled that he is healthy and well, and she wants to throw him a party with her family and friends. She knows she can’t afford to throw a big party so she spoke to her case manager. Together, they are working on a plan. Jada will use a few donated Elmo themed party supplies and a local bakery is going to donate a cake. She is going to celebrate with the families in the house and she will take Corey to dinner at her mom’s house to celebrate with them one night. She was worried that she wouldn’t be able to buy him a birthday gift, but she took a closer look at her budget with her case manager and now Jada will be able to buy a small gift for Corey without going off budget.
