Jai Sai Ram, Forwarding you the following invitation to all Sai devotees at Bhartiya Cultural Society of Alberta (Hindu Mandir) at 9507, 39 Ave Edmonton, Alberta Canada: वॆंकटाद्रि समं स्थानं ब्रह्मांडे नास्ति किंचन | वॆंकटॆश सामॊ दॆवॊ न भूतॊ न भविष्यति || Venkatadri samam sthanam brahmande nasti kinchana Venkatesha samo devo na bhooto na bhavishyati KALYANOTSAVAM AND KUMBHABHISHEKAM After the instillation of the domes on our temple we will not only be celebrating Kalyanotsavam but also Kumbhabhishekam performed by the priests from Tirupathi India on the 12th 13th and 14th of September 2014. This years Kalyanotsavam will be unique starting with Kumbhabhishekam, and Lord Tamilselvan Venkatapathyeswara and Matha Padmawathi Abhishekam on Friday September 12th, Suprabhata Seva, Thomala Seva and Archana at 8 Am on Saturday 13th September, Kalyanotsavam, Dholotsavam and Ekantha Seva in the afternoon of Saturday 13th September at 4pm, Concluding the festival with Garuda Seva on Sunday 14th September at 10.30am. All events during the three days are free to all devotees yet your kind donations towards the event are appreciated.As the space is limited seating for all sevas will be first come first serve basis.If you wish to sponsor Kalyanotsavam please emali your participation so we can make arrangement for the same. Program for 3 days Friday 12th Sep 2014 Kumbhabhishekam Abheshekam 6.PM, Archana, Arathi Saturday September 13th 2014 Suprabhata Seva 8AM, Sahasranama Archana, Arathi Kalyana Mahotsavam 4 PM Dolotsavam Ekantha Seva Sunday 14th Sep 2014 Garuda Seva Preeti Bhojan will be served on all days. ALL SEVAS ARE FREE AND OPEN FOR ALL. Donations With out your donations we would not be able to host this festival year after year so we would like to request you to donate towards the event generously no amount is too small. Donations towards Preeti Bhojan On all three days of the festival preeti Bhojan will be served along with the maha Naivedhyam served during the puja any one willing to donate towards Bhojan sponsorship please do so at the cash desk any time before the event. If you wish to donate groceries please note the following items that we would require most you may bring them any time before 7thSeptember and hand it in to Pdt Lakshman Sharma. 1. Rice 2. Ghee 3. Oil 4. Tuvar dal 5. Moong dal 6. Jaggery 7. Besan Donations towards Flowers we need plenty of flowers for the event if you wish to donate flowers please bring Carnations any colour, and roses any colour.The flowers are to be dropped off at the temple on Thursday 11th September. Volunteers: A successful event is only possible with help from volunteers so we request for help from members of the community to help and support BCSA. The following are the areas we require most help just email us if you are able to help us. 1.Vegetable cutting. 2. Ladoo preparation 3. Food service 4. Prasad distribution 5. Lobby and traffic control 6. Flower Garland making. 7. Stage set up and clean up.
