As we all know how much Gopis were fond of Lord Krishna. One day a gopi wanted to draw out the well 2 pitchers of water. Lord Krishna, also very fond of Gopis was there watching it. **( In Our books its said Gopis are Brahmins, Saints who in their earlier births had served in devotion to Lord Vishnu for attainment of Moksha. Hence this was the birth when Lord Vishnu in the form of Krishna would relieve them and bless them all! ) But Lord Krsna did not help. Soon another Gopi came along and helped the first one. The Gopi carrying the two pitchers reached her home. Lord Krishna followed her to the house. Without even waiting to be asked, took the top pitcher from the Gopi’s head and placed it down. She was surprised at Lord Krishnas strange behavior. She asked him, Krsna, at the well, you refused to place the pitcher on my head, when I appealed to you for help.. Now why did you take it down from the head without my asking.
