Jaiz bank expands to 14 branches Jaiz Bank Plc, the first full- fledged non-interest bank in Nigeria has increased its branch network to fourteen. The latest entrant into the bank’s branch network is Kano Kabuga branch which is strategically located within Bayero University and is position to serve both the University community and the ever thriving Kabuga commercial area. The bank commenced operations with three branches in Abuja, Kaduna and Kano states on the 6th January, 2012, after it received license from the Central Bank of Nigeria on the 11th of November 2011 to operate as a non-interest bank. Other locations where the bank has branches are Gombe, Maiduguri, Katsina and Gusau (Zamfara state), Bauchi. It has three branches in Abuja, located at Kano House Central Business District, the National Assembly, Wuse District and four in Kano with the addition of Kabuga branch.. A statement from the head, corporate communications of Jaiz Bank, Idris Salihu said more branches will come on board before the end of the year. -BPN
