Jamaican Health Minister Praises Cuban Cooperation Kingston, Jul 3.- Jamaican Health Minister Fenton Ferguson highlighted Cubas cooperation in a report to parliament, official sources reported today. According to the minister, by virtue of an Agreement on Bilateral Technical Assistance, an additional group of 36 Cuban professionals have been deployed in different regions since the end of 2013. He explained that they are in charge of new specialties, as neonatology, nephrology, pathology and odontology, as the Cuban embassy in Jamaica highlighted in a communique. Ferguson announced that arrival of more collaborators of the sector is expected before the year ends. He took advantage of the opportunity to thank Cuba for its services and remarked the work of several pathologists, who are working together with local authorities to modernize the National Public Health Laboratory.
