Jama’at organizes Nazool-e-Quran Conference Holy Quran shows unambiguous path: Wani Srinagar, July 28 :Jama’at-e-Islami J&K Sunday organized a one-day “Nazool-e-Quran Conference” at Masjid Al-Huda, Batmaloo here. The conference, which began with the Tilawat-e-Quran by Qari Sajad, was attended by thousands of persons, mostly youth, from across the valley. After the Tilawat-e-Quran, Ameer-i-Jama’at, Muhammad Abdullah Wani delivered short Dars-e-Quran in the light of first few verses from Surah Al-Baqarah. He said that the Quran was the only book that shows straight and unambiguous path. “There is no doubt of any sorts in the content of the Quran and neither is there any doubt in the fact that this book is a revelation from Allah,” he said. He said that there were, however, some indispensable traits which people must inculcate in order to achieve Guidance (Hidayah) from the Quran. He said as per the Quran people must believe in the Unseen (Imaan Bil Gaib); establish prayers; spend out in the path of Allah from what has been provided to them. Wani said Muslims also must have faith in all the previous books and respect them. “But, after the revelation of the Quran, they all stand suspended and The Quran is the only and ultimate book of Guidance (Hidayah) now,” he added. He said the last quality needed to achieve Guidance from the Quran was the belief in the life hereafter (Imaan Bil Aakhirah). The Conference was also addressed by all the district presidents (Umrae-i-Azla) or district secretaries of Jama’at from Kashmir valley on given topics related to the Quran for fifteen minutes each. They included Maulana Muhammad Ismael Lone (Kupwara), Ghulam Muhammad Bhat (Budgam), Shahzada Aurangzeb Makki (Shopian), Ghulam Muhammad Wani (Bandipora), Gazi Moin-ul-Islam, (acting Ameer-i-Zilla Srinagar), Peer Abdul Rasheed (Kulgam), Ahmadullah Parray Makki (Islamabad), Ghulam Qadir Wani (Pulwama), Bashir Ahmad Lone (District Secretary Ganderbal), and Muhammad Maqbool Bhat (Baramulla).
