Jambo Mambo! Just got back in England... Well where do i start? The hardest but all time best experience i have ever had climbing Kilimanjaro! Not just a very physically demanding challenge but mentally too, different weather conditions, endless hours hiking, battling altitude sickness but i made it after 7 hours walking at -15, starting at midnight on summit night... The emotions i felt at the top at sunrise were just overwhelming, so many tears of joy, a release of so much pain, an unforgettable feeling, an infinite moment. Africa is a truly beautiful continent (thanks Emma) and so are its habitants, their constant happiness and song amidst struggle is so sincere and heart warming, met so many inspiring people, just listening to their stories was incredible. The group of hikers i completed the challenge with were also just as inspiring, with their own personal challenges, a perfect group all reaching the summit, i have made some life long friends. Each and every single one of them have left footprints on my heart, an accomplishment i will never ever forget, and to think i am helping people while doing this is indescribable. Ended the expedition clubbing with our African friends, a remarkable time which has given me a new lease of life. Definitely want to indulge in more of this spectacular planet. Anything is possible.
