James 1:22-25 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Precept to James 1:23: Luke 6:47-48 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great. Precepts to James 1:25: 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Most High, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Most High. John 13:17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. (We must be doers of the word, not hearers. The Bible say keep the laws, Statutes and commandments, so keep them. Allot of christian pastors teach that you dont have to keep the laws. Be doers of the word not hearers.) And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 1 Peter 1:5 Who are kept by the power of the Most High through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (Those that hear the sayings of the Messiah and do them are like a man that build a house upon a rock, meaning you have a solid foundation to walk on that can not be broken. But those that hear the words thats in the KJV and do them not is like a man that build a house without a foundation on the earth the soil.) Romans 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before the Most High, but the doers of the law shall be justified. Precepts to Romans 2:13: Deuteronomy 30:12-14 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? 13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? 14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. Ezekiel 20:11 And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them. Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of the Most High, and do it. (For not the hearers of the law are just before the Father, but the doers of the law shall be justified. People keep the law and do it.) James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? (Thats why we must be doers of the words and not hearers of the word. Many Religious people say they have faith and hear the word, but are not doers and have no works, Be doers of the word so you can store up great works in Heaven.) James 2:20-26 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed the Most High, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of the Most High. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. Precept to James 2:20: Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Precept to James 2:21: Genesis 22:9 And they came to the place which the Most High had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. Precepts to James 2:23: Genesis 15:6 And he believed in the Most High; and he counted it to him for righteousness. Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed the Most High, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 2 Chronicles 20:7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever? Isaiah 41:8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. Precept to James 2:25: Hebrews 11:31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. (Once again be doers of the word, so your works may be justified before the Father. Dont be hearers of the word and say I have faith, becasue faith without works is dead.)
