James 2:20-22 (NIV) - You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? He goes so far as to say that faith without works is dead! Abraham showcased this when he was willing to take his son Isaac to sacrifice him upon an altar based upon a command from the LORD. His actions showed a radical understanding of God’s goodness, and the results were a testimony of God’s provision that still speaks to us today.
