James Gildroy Whitehurst III On Thursday, June 19th, Jim passed away after a long battle with prostate cancer. Jim was born Feb. 4th, 1949 in Burlington, Vermont. He moved to California where he taught accounting at Los Angeles Business College. Jim loved to joke around and talk about the trivial nonsense in life. He is proceeded in death by his parents James and Bermaline Whitehurst. He is survived by his son James F. Whitehurst and stepson Chris R. Jimenez, and by his only grandchild, beautiful Sofia R. Whitehurst. He is also survived by his best friend and life partner Olivia Jimenez, his brother Billy Whitehurst and sister Kay Moody. Services will be held at Saint Josephs Catholic Church (877 N. Campus ave., Upland, CA 91786) at 11am on Thursday, June 26, 2014.
