James Harding, 55, admitted that between 2008 and 2009, he and his co-conspirators submitted fraudulent documents to the State Department to facilitate adoptions of Ethiopian children by U.S. parents, according to Assistant Attorney General Leslie R. Caldwell and U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles of the District of South Carolina. For those that do not believe in adoption corruption and fraud, this is proof. It is a hard pill to swallow especially to those that have adopted internationally. Not all children are orphans. In many impoverished countries, they have treated children (adoption) as a resource and commodity to make money and pump money into their economy. There are orphans, but in many cases these children have families that had their children ripped from their arms placed into orphanages to be sold for adoption. It is a heartbreaking reality that many people need to be aware of. I know many adoptive parents dont want to hear this hard truth, but for one second think of these families. Think of that mother praying for her childs return....
